Do you use all photos?

Not always.  We edit the video based on the mood, setting and pacing.  We definitely try to use them all.  However, sometimes less is more.  We focus on the impact of the presentation as a whole.

How long will it take to make my video?  Do you accommodate rush orders?

For most orders, we require at least 10 days from the time we receive your photos.  A "rush order" is an order that must be filled in less than 10 days.  If you need to place a "rush" order, the turn around time is approximately 3 business days from the time your photos are received.  The charge for this service is an additional 30% of your package price.  (For example, if the price is normally $179, the rush order fee is $53.70).  Because each situation is different, please contact us by email or phone to discuss your project.

If I have an idea for my video that i haven't seen in any of the samples, can you incorporate it into a video that will fit my occasion?

Absolutely!  If you can imagine it, we can make it!

How do I pay?  What payment methods are accepted?

We accept personal checks, money orders or credit card payments through PayPal.

Can I use pictures from a professional photographer?

In order for us to be able to include pictures from a professional photographer we will need a letter from them on their letterhead granting Forever And A Day Productions permission to use them.

How do I send my pictures to you?

Many clients prefer to scan their own photos or have them scanned at a local photo lab (Wal-Mart's photo labs usually have the best prices), to avoid having to send their pictures through the mail.  We accept photos in .jpg, .tif, .gif, .bmp format.  Giving us digital photographs is often more convenient and will accelerate the design of your video album.  If you do not have a scanner or other means of having your photos scanned, we will be happy to scan your photographs for just $.50 (fifty cents) each.

Will my DVD player or Computer play the DVD you create?

Our photomontages are created with the industry standard format of DVD-R. Most DVD players manufactured within the past 4 years will play our DVD-R’s.

Can I pick my own music?

Yes. We encourage you to pick music that you would like to hear with your photomontage. However, you must own an original copy of your music selection and submit a copy of your music selection with your photographs.

Is it legal to have copyrighted music on my videos?

Yes. The songs on your photomontage will be purchased on your behalf. These songs are licensed for personal use, just like any music you buy from the store.

What graphics formats do you accept?

We can accept any of the following: JPG(JPEG), GIF, BMP(Windows Bitmap), TIFF(Tagged Image), PNG(Portable Network Graphics), PSD (Photoshop).

What are title pages?

A title page is a blank slide with text on it. It is a natural braking point between chapters in your photomontage or in the life of the person (s) in the photomontage.

What is a text Overlay?

It is text that you can display with your pictures. The text Overlay is typically closer to the bottom of the screen. A text overlay gives the audience additional information about a particular picture. A text overlay loses its effectiveness if it is used on every picture in your video or you make your descriptions too long. A text overlay should be short and to the point.

What should I use? Audio Clips or Voice Narrations?

Voice narrations are a great way to add emotion and character to the video. Voice narrations are recordings of you speaking to your audience. Voice narrations can be played in conjunction with your music so your audience can listen and enjoy your pictures at the same time. The music will be softer than the voice narration and you can hear both at the same time.

What can I add to my Photo Montage beside pictures?

You can add any of the following: Photographs, Voice (CD, Audio Tape, .MP3 or WAV) Video VHS, C-VHS, 8MM, Hi8, DV, 8MM. Also non-photo content such as Newspaper Articles, Awards, Brochures, Certificates of appreciation and etc.

What if I lose my copy of the photomontage you create?

We will replace up to one copy for a period of one year. All you have to do is pay for the shipping and handling to replace your Photo Montage.

What if I have a damaged Photograph that I would like in my photomontage?

We do offer photo restoration; however, there are limitations to what we can do. We evaluate your photograph and give you a set of options.

What if I have a picture that I like but it is hard to see?

We look at each and every picture when building your photomontage and look the following: Red Eye, Color Correction, Cropping, Lighting, Sharpness, and Contrast

What is Cropping?

It is the process of removing parts of a picture that are not wanted.

What if I cannot organize my pictures?

We will organize them for you and solicit feedback as needed.
